• Monitor stock on a daily basis and place internal transfer requests with the Auto Parts Dept.
• Monitor and report on lost sales and back-orders and forward reports to Parts Manager and Operations Manager.
• Oversee daily Local Purchase Order activities to monitor expenditure and prepare monthly reports for the Operations Manager, Parts Manager, ACDelco/GM to enhance the ordering system.
• Prepare daily reports related to ACDelco parts sales to reflect workshop utilization of ACDelco parts.
• Work closely with Internal Audit regarding dead stock by completing the relevant documents, (DSR forms) coordinating with Workshops to do stocktaking and removal of dead stock.
• Work closely with Internal Audit on stock-taking in order to monitor the inventory process.
• Generate stock orders as recommended by the manufacturer and for daily demand.
• Recommend and prepare stock, special and emergency orders.
• Monitor suppressions, amendments and discontinued parts numbers.
• Revise order quantities as needed and prepares order reports.
• Reconcile stock orders, and order responses.
• Collaborate with the Service Departments for parts availability and issue of parts.
• Coordinate with the Operations Manager and Parts Department on parts stock order & delivery issues.
• Undertake additional related responsibilities as required.
