Job Summary:
To oversee the day to day operations of the Warehouse, ensuring that procedures and processes are being implemented thus resulting to smooth flow of all activities.
Duties:
* Delegate work assignment to the warehouse staff and supervise the functions of all warehouse employees
* Responsible for ensuring all incoming and outgoing items are in good condition and as per the specs been ordered.
* Check the items prepared for delivery to the clients. Verify that payment has been made before delivery
* Ensure completeness and on time truck loading and delivery of the generators and/or spare parts
* Implement and ensure that the "First In First Out" (FIFO) system in the warehouse is being followed
* Lead the inventory team in conducting inventory procedures and make sure that the inventory figures in the system are consistent with the actual count
* Keep clean record for stock with serial numbers.
* Maintain the warehouse well organized and clean.
* Ensure that all transactions are supported by proper documents.
* Follow-up on the status of the complaints/concerns regarding the delivered items and make certain that it is resolved.
* Coordinate with other departments as required by his work and the standard operating procedures.
* Ensure compliance of all legal and safety procedures in the warehouse.
* Perform supervisory function such as but not limited to recommending staff movement, performance management and implementing disciplinary measures as deemed fit
