User Interface Designer Job Description Our UI Designer bridge the gap between design teams and technical implementation developers. Speaking the language of design composition interactivity and user engagement as well as having a deep understanding of HTML5 CSS Flash and XAML you breathe the spark of life into the creative vision of the design teams you are a part of. The focus of the role is to untap the full potential of today's varied frontend development technologies to produce UI implementations that are ondesign expressive fast and clean while uplifting the user experience design and responsiveness to worldclass levels. You will apply your skills in the creation of experiences that are both beautiful as well as technically ground breaking all the while remaining true to the design regardless of platform or technology. Requirements A deep understanding of several designer and developer tool sets including the Adobe Creative Suite Expression Blend XCode and so forth. Demonstrable implementation excellence and innovation across a variety of current and next generation UI technologies such as HTML 5 CSS 3 XAML and Blend JavaScriptAjax Flash Silverlight WPF iOS and Objective C Exceptional communication skills allowing you to articulate creative and aesthetic choices to both clients and team members. Experience creating impactful and attractive interactive coded design as a member of multidisciplinary teams. At least 2 years of relevant experience OR significant involvement on at least three brand websites and or digital experience initiatives iPhone iPad Tablets Windows Phone Android etc. A portfolio that demonstrates a strong command of the interactive design medium including strong coding and CSS skills good typography color theory and usability to name a few.
