Main duties Assist the Director of Food Beverage in coordinating the organizational and administrative functions the Food and Beverage Department to ensure delivery at InterContinental Hotels Resorts standards Monitor service and food beverage standards in all outlets and take corrective actions as necessary to ensure that guests in the hotel are receiving the best possible service Ensure FB profitability through performance monitoring special promotions and activities that generate additional revenue and popular interest provision of solutions to improve performance Assist in monitoring the activities and trends of competitors and keep up to date with international trends in order to ensure the competitive advantage of the hotel. Set in conjunction with the Food Beverage Director and the Executive Chef annual operating budgets Ensure that HACCP and other local regulations are adhered to Train and develop Outlet Managers so that they are able to operate independently with their own profit centre and to exceed budget and are up to date with market needs and trends and ensuring that their product matches these needs
