•Coordinate and configure SmartPlant Instrumentation and Electrical engineering environment
•Perform all activities related to the administration of SmartPlant Electrical SmartPlant Instrumentation
•Configure SmartPlant Electrical SmartPlant Instrumentation projects
•Incorporate standard vendor data and productivity enhancements as required by discipline and project
•Establish and maintain system administration parameters configuration files symbols templates and other attributes
•Deploy and support a stable integrated platform to meet project demands
•Ensure project configurations meet required standards both corporate and client.
•Implement and provide user support when needed
•Troubleshoot and resolve software issues upgrades and enhancements as well as provide technical Assistance to system Users
•Work with vendors IST engineering and other SP administrators for resolution of software issues bugs and training
•Develop procedures and work instructions based on best practices
•Customize reports based on project requirements
•Identify and analyze automation opportunities within SmartPlant Electrical
•Administration of SPI in an integrated environment including SPF as well as direct interface with SPEL.
•Use of SPEL Import Utility to for importing
•Use of Infomaker for specification modification or creation and the development of custom browsers and reports.
•Use of the SPEL Import Utility.
•Maintains reference data including the utilization of utility tools management of priorities and the coordination of work processes and communications
•Provides Quality Assurance on deliverables

Desired Candidate Profile•Using and supporting SmartPlant Instrumentation or equivalent products
•Understanding of Instrumentation and electrical design and related specifications.
•Demonstrates a sound knowledge of engineering practices and familiarity with engineering and construction activities is preferable
