Key Account Manager Job - BASF

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Sales and Commercial Management of Construction Systems relating to key accounts.
- Locally based international, Arabic contractors and major project management.
- Has accountability for the Customer base performance and, particularly, for attaining agreed sales and targets with other priority objectives.
- Plan and implement effective sales strategies to establish BASF as the leading supplier of construction systems in Qatar.
- Develop profitable sales growth in the defined market segments for all relevant construction systems. "Push and Pull" marketing with the support of identified human resource teams as necessary and available.
- Plan and implement strategies to identify, manage and develop relations with target clients, contractors and specialist applicators under a key account management system.
- Maintain rolling action plan with timelines on agreed initiatives and strategies.
- Identify key projects and assess potential products, quantities and sales values.
- Maintain rolling project forecast spreadsheet. Ensure associated sales staff understand, communicate and follow-up on project opportunities where appropriate.
- Ensure target projects are updated via the online Project Tracking system.
- Responsible for managing and reducing debts relating to the defined segments, projects and customers.
- Team with Senior Management functions to recommend, establish and maintain an appropriate product range for the defined segments, with correct pricing, positioning and supply chain optimization.
- Support the relevant Business Development Manager in the specification selling process.
- Monitor competitor products, prices, market trends, technology trends and propose market strategies accordingly for the defined region.
- Establish, lead and participate in regular Local Team meetings for the purpose of the above.
