The projects include roads, infrastructure, cooling plants, parking structures, pumping stations, parks, open spaces, a reverse osmosis plant, and other infrastructure works.

Senior Electrical Design Engineer:
The selected candidate will have at least 10 years background in electrical design and would have demonstrated supervisory experience on large infrastructure projects.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will provide direction and management to a team of designer and ensure on-schedule completion within or below budget in accordance with contractual obligations. The Electrical Design Lead is responsible for directing design staff, coordinating activities, schedules, and design task orders. This professional will develop project plans, define project goals and devise methods to accomplish them; develops in-depth knowledge of client objectives, contract terms, and Parsons/client policies. They should be familiar with the integration of architectural and engineering/technical aspects, as well as procurement and design activities. They will be responsible for meeting quality requirements for both the contractor and the project owner and would have supported major projects up to $150 million.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
The selected candidate will:

• Be able to demonstrate an understanding of the interactions with design/build; they will help to define scope of work, design criteria, schedule, standards, and procedures for project assignments
• Working on construction site, assists Resident Engineer with implementing mechanical engineering practices and related standards.
• Develops and implements QA procedures to ensure quality control performed by others is properly implemented throughout the program and assigned projects.
• Reviews standards for materials and equipment to ensure they are in accordance with the specifications and LEED sustainability plan.
• Attend meetings with client and subcontractors while acting as a Parsons representative.
• Provide technical direction, making decisions and/or obtaining the services of subcontractors or consultants. Reviewing drawings detailing the systems designed and calculations while establishing the program requirements for the areas of the South Terminal
• Coordinate work with other Senior Resident Engineer, and leads of many disciplines while planning, directing, supervising, and controlling the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the a redevelopment project.
• The Electrical Design Lead will visit the project sites while working with the client to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of utilities work.
