This position is created to fulfill IDC in increasing focus on existing customers and developing new business contacts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the Insights Practice Director for the Middle East & Africa, this role supports IDC's rapidly growing client base in all areas of IT market research and consultancy.
Responsibilities:
- Sales of IDC's product portfolio, which includes local, regional, and global research and market intelligence studies and services;
- Cold-calling in order to generate demand; pipeline management;
- Proposal preparation for prospective clients;
- Client acquisition: contact and follow-up through telephone and on-site visits;
- Developing prospects and client profiling: developing new contacts and identifying major decision makers within the assigned industry (Energy sector and Finance sector);
- Local Development: identifying new business within the local user market;
- Forecasts and sales reporting to the Practice Director; co-operation with global sales and account teams.
