A prestigious Ready Mixed Concrete Company based in Qatar requires a qualified and professional Commercial Manager reporting to the CEO.
Role Responsibilities
• As the head of the commercial department you will be responsible for all the preparation of tendering documents along with compilation and issuance. Tendering management, Tenders evaluation, Contracts preparation and administration, Request for Proposals (RFPs) preparation and issuance.
• Monitor and review the budgeting along with the business development of the company for various commercial issues.
• Ensuring preparation of technical and financial proposals, prequalification documents and expression of interest (EOI) in accordance with different international format for different engineering disciplines.
• As Commercial Manager that will head the Sales Department.
• Liaise with Clients and obtain comments, directions and instructions via attending weekly progress meeting to constantly seeking an excellent class of service for the customer.
• Develops and implements relevant policies and best practices for area of responsibility to support innovative cost effective and highly differentiated delivery of services.
• Develops bold marketing, company structure, company policies, job description, providing a training programme to develop the team.
• He will also be responsible in analyzing the market situation and taking timely decisions regarding marketing, advertising, pricing and inventory management. He will be responsible in monitoring competition.
• Price and margin control; maintaining excellent relations with the principals.
• He will be responsible in devising market strategies, market segmentation, pricing vs. product positioning; environment analysis, market analysis, positioning of products/services vis-à-vis strategic implications in the Markets.
• Advise and decide on the best methods to resolve contractual issues to manage finalization of accounts.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, delegate and be accountable for work assigned to staff.
• Possesses strong leadership abilities and analytical skills.
• Effective leadership, written, oral and interpersonal communication skills required.
