A leading multinational petrochemical Co in KSA is seeking Internal Controls Specialist.
Description:
The Internal Controls Specialist is responsible for analyzing & evaluating current internal controls & establishing and creating new more effective internal controls. This role will involve testing controls, documents current processes and procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
The Internal Controls Specialist will have the following
responsibilities:
- Develop Internal Controls& accounting regulations.
- Monitor changes to Corporate Compliance regulatory policies and ensure local procedures are updated to reflect current requirements.
- Ensure adequate controls to support accounting regulatory compliance by evaluating the company policies.
- Prepare detailed audit plans & programs that explain the extent of the work to be performed for operational and financial audits, the audit program that will be applied and the frequency of the audit reports that will be submitted.
- Identify and document areas of potential control weaknesses in different departments in order to mitigate risk within the organization.
- Identify inefficiencies & security issues & propose solutions to these issues.
- Responsible for identifying areas for process improvement.
- Communicate & train employees, decision makers & business units supervisors on new policies & how to apply them.
- All other related responsibilities as required.
