The Deputy Maintenance General Manager will work in parallel with an Egyptian national Maintenance General Manager to achieve maintenance of HSE production and expense goals. A primary responsibility is the coaching of nationals and the sharing of expertise to influence the operations to ensure mutual success of the challenges and goals of the operations. This position is on the oil side but it has close interaction with the gas operation as well. Additional responsibilities include bull Monitor daily maintenance activities to ensure work is carried out safely and with regard to environmental considerations bull Maintain reliable oil and gas production operations by implementing preventative and corrective maintenance programs through a CMMS system such as Maximo or Oracle systems with the aim to minimize downtime bull Identify and initiate purchase of critical equipment spares and tools necessary to maintain the operation of assets. This also involves follow up of the purchasing of this equipment to ensure that the correct items are delivered and maintained in stock bull Provision of experience in managing vendor equipment contractors and representatives in maintaining and upgrading of plant equipment and systems bull Manage and optimize reliablility of the client's owned and operated Overhead Transmission Line power distribution systems bull Supervision of the vendor representatives responsible for the maintenance of the gas turbine generators. This involves the day to day maintenance of these machines as well as assistance in troubleshooting problems and planning overhauls and modifications bull Manage the Instrument Control Specialists in their role of maintaining and enhancing the plants instrumentation and control systems. This includes prioritizing their work with regard to operational and maintenance considerations and objectives bull Review and provide feedback on proposed facility upgrades and new facilities bull Daily reporting to national and expat supervisors regarding problems and solutions daily activity and recommendations bull Identify areas where maintenance employees require additional training and to assist in the development of training programs including on the job training bull Liaise with other departments to ensure maintenance requirements are implemented in a timely manner. Experience and Knowledge This position requires the ability to resolve daily problems to accomplish the core objectives of the Company. There is a high volume of drilling workover production construction and processing activity which require professional organizational and planning skills to respond to and manage multiple issues at one time. Other experience and skills requirements include bull An enthusiastic person with extensive knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry and its maintenance practices bull A person who is selfmotivated and has the ability to function with minimum supervision bull Experience in managingleading multidiscipline and multicultural maintenance departments in oil and gas facilities bull Experience in Oil and Gas well operations including waterflooding and downstream processing of gas and hydrocarbon liquids bull Extensive knowledge of mechanical instrument and electrical equipment and systems used within the oil and gas industry bull Demonstrated experience in maintenance of reciprocating high speed rotating machinery bull Solid understanding of applicable industry standards regulations and guidelines especially concerning safety bull Effective written oral and listening communication skills bull Someone who is team oriented and able to work effectively with other people bull Demonstrated leadership with the ability to work with and develop a national workforce bull Knowledge and experience with the existing installed systems including bull Oilgaswater separation and dehydration bull Centrifugal and reciprocating gas compressors bull Centrifugal and reciprocating pumps bull Gas Turbine Generators bull Power generation and distribution bull Air Compressors bull CMMS Computer Maintenance Management Systems. bull A strong focus on continuous improvement bull Environment Health Safety including bull Safety leadership bull Implementing local company safe work practices bull Monitoring and minimizing environmental impact.

Desired Candidate ProfileThe candidate will have 15 years of oilfield production experience and relative secondary training Sould be fluent in English and possess strong leadership capabilities along with excellent written and oral communication skills. Some experience working in a multicultural environment is desirable Engineeringtechnical degree is preferred Slf starter who can anticipate problems and adjust accordingly to meet the demands of an active and growing organization. The ability to communicate effectively and respectfully at all levels in order to work in a cooperative and constructive spirit with a variety of disciplines personalities and cultures is essential.
