1.Provides guidance and direction to specialty engineering or field personnel in the development andor application of design criteria and design specifications.
2.Conducts or leads as requested special studies on economic feasibility new technologies methods or materials.
3.Serves as consultant to project and specialty engineering groups providing advice and counsel on assignments having special and unique features.
4.Conducts research presents papers and keeps abreast of technological development in a specialty keeping engineering informed of important new advances.
5.Assists in the development and coordination of special technical educational and training programs for PGESCo engineering personnel andor clients.
6.Has good knowledge of engineering scientific systems calculation methods procedures construction methods materials and advanced skills in computer applications.
7.Has good understanding of related construction practices and ASME codes requirements
8.Has the ability to develop
a.design guides and engineering standards
b.technical specifications for steam turbine generator
c.Specialty Engineering Department Instructions as applied to the specialty

Desired Candidate Profile1.Working knowledge of steam turbine generator manufacturing processes
2.Proficient in technical writing and making oral presentations
3.Good working knowledge of industry codes and standards
4.Very good knowledge of the equipment technologies available in the market preferable manufacturing experience
5.Demonstrated thorough knowledge of computer tools used to perform calculations
6.Developed specialized knowledge of systemsproblems in hisher specialty area
