Job Purpose:-
To carry out a variety of legal and legal administration tasks to sport the activities of the legal advisor. Ensures smooth running of office operations to effectively support and assist legal advisor.
Key Tasks and Duties:-
•Undertake legal tasks of a routine nature and general administrative duties which require a knowledge of legal and specialist legal paperwork.
•Liaise with business elements as per procedures and standards of the organization with guidance from the legal advisor.
•Cross checks on routine internal aspects of legal or related issues as required.
•Organize and manages the legal office material allocation and usage.
•Draft contracts and agreements for review approval.
•Monitor daily movements of documents and co-ordinates movement activities -ensures relevant paperwork is completed on time.
•Research changes and updates to local and Federal laws and regulations. May be required to search international laws and regulations as directed.
•Oversee various procedural activities with official or government departments or external organizations.
•Ensure all Company correspondences is in correct legal terminology and meets the requirements of the legal framework in which AWPR operates.
•Conduct regular legal translation when required.
•Support business entities in dealing legal issues under the direction of the legal advisor.
•Undertake similar or related tasks as directed by senior management.
•Follow all AWPR EHS policies and procedures.
