RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities. Oversee the marketing organization, in order to ensure volume, market share and profit performance.
• Develop, agree and implement a coherent short and long term marketing strategy which supports the overall business plan.
• Increase an appropriate portfolio of products in each profitable segment of the market. Develop deep consumer insights and competitor knowledge to ensure company meets consumer demands whilst achieving differentiation in the market.
• Ensure quality of execution (right product, right time, right place), prioritize activities and efficiently manage available resources to ensure the consistent and highest possible standard across all channels.
• Constantly motivate key stakeholders to ensure successful partnerships in plan execution (advertising and research agencies, key customers and suppliers).
• Manage the market research and dialogue marketing groups in order to ensure the best possible intelligence of the market, the consumers and any factors impacting on business and effective development and user of our consumer data bank for exploitation in marketing programs.
• Manage the development and implementation of diversification programs for all major products to ensure communication possibilities and consistency with overall objectives.
• Manage the implementation of the annual marketing plan, in order to ensure consistency and effectiveness of objectives, efficiency of resource allocation, timely implementation of activities and best rates and services from our suppliers.
• Organize annual budget indicating priorities and needed changes to comply with the needs of the whole department. Ensure that actual spending is in line with the approved budget in accordance with time and money limits.
• Ensure the highest level of professional expertise amongst the marketing function by leading the development and implementation of appropriate marketing tools, practices, training programs, career and advancement planning, coaching and people management.
• Uphold corporate integrity and values, ensuring all activities comply with company's policies and procedures, including Marketing Policies and Procedures.
• Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors.
• Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends.
