DUTIES
• Manage, develop and design innovative system solutions adhering to system engineering, designing, analysis, and validation from product lines for customer satisfaction while maximizing profitability and minimizing risks.
• Set up annual budget and ensure that actual spending is in line with the approved budget in accordance with time and money limits.
• Develop an integrated System Solution Strategies and provide feedback on opportunities for further developments and improvements. Conduct market analysis, and develop contingency plans.
• Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company and promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors.
• Establish and implement short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
• Propose and take ownership of new solutions and variants of existing solutions. Attend appropriate external events to promote the solution, and to assess the market and to network with potential customers.
• Direct broad knowledge of engineering work and general projects structure and develop the required control tools to manage the departments activities effectively and efficiently
• Evaluation of subcontractor proposals in a manner that ensure objectivity and fairness ahead of selecting a certain subcontractor
• Follow up the department performance and projects completion progress. Manage projects engineers, contracts and subcontractors.
• Support sales in developing advanced technical strategies and building relationships with potential customers, in order to familiarize the customers with our products at a technical level.
• Participate in discussions and presentations with customers, consultants, vendors and other personnel as necessary to advance projects.
• Develop and maintain all necessary systems, policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient performance. Ensure the highest level of professional expertise amongst the system solution function by leading the development and implementation of appropriate technical tools, practices, training programs, career and advancement planning, coaching and people management.
• Lead, guide, motivate and develop the team, setting a clear vision for system solution function in terms of objectives, roles and structure to ensure sustainable delivery targets.
