Our client, a reputable company specialized in Water Solutions is currently seeking to recruit a BU Manager TreatmentOVERALL JOB PURPOSEThe Business Unit (BU) treatment is developing, marketing and selling products, applications and solutions for the treatment of water and wastewater. The product portfolio includes products of the Flygt, Sanitaire, Wedeco, Leopold and Godwin brands to serve the core applications of pumping, mixing, aeration, disinfectionoxidation and filtrationclarificationseparation. Core market is the public utility market but various defined industrial applications are also covered by the BU. The Treatment Manager is primarily responsible for driving sustainable and profitable growth in the served markets by developing and executing the Middle East Region Treatment strategy through adequate sales, marketing and support structures. KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES1) Responsible for achieving sales targets and budgets for Treatment products and services 2) To work in close co-operation with the Managing Director to establish the Middle East Region strategic plan and annual Operating Plan and Budgets in line with the BU Strategic Plan 3) To develop external network and relationship to influence business drivers and decision makers 4) To create strategies or initiatives to balance short-term requirements with long-range business plans 5) Provide regular business reporting and be actively involved in local and central GDP (Goal Deployment Plan). 6) To ensure the resources in his area of responsibility are managed as defined by the local Operating PlanBudget. 7) To ensure the respective sales and applications teams within the different Treatment segments are working in a well co-ordinated, co-operative and effective manner to satisfy the needs of external customers and set up effective priorities 8) Lead, coach, mentor and support hisher team and to conduct PfP's 9) Participate in recruitment processes 10) Map customer needs and market trends 11) Plan and implement marketing activities, product launches and other initiatives. 12) Contract negotiations 13) Manage flexible-pricing approach for projects 14) Report on business climate within the region 15) Follow up of internal and external performance versus targets, budgets and plan 16) Monitor competitiveness, track market shares and competitor developments 17) Develop and promote marketing activity including a) sales and promotional visits as and when necessaryb) Identifying sales campaign opportunities c) Co-ordination of conferences, presentations, seminars, exhibitions, d) Preparing case stories and PRe) Managing sales support budget for distributor markets 18) Ensure that adequate cover is provided at all times given regard to holiday leave to meet the requirements of the ME Region19) Ensure fulfilment of Xylem Ethics and Compliance requirements20) To work within established Company policies and procedures. 21) To undertake any other duties as and when necessary to meet the varying demands of the business and satisfy customer needs.
