As a result we are looking for a PME BBS Sales Manager who will manage a team of Technical Sales Managers in the region. The role involves leadership, management, business development and all round commercial skills. You must be experienced in managing commercial teams, understanding the role of distribution within the specification process and the development of key accountsclients. Customer facing activity ranges from senior management within PME and the Promat group through to architectsspecifiers, senior engineers, contractor purchasing, customer sales and general commercial discussions, through to meeting with key specification personnel within end userclients. Interacting with customers must be something second nature to you along with dialogue with customers in relation to material discussions and technical submissions. The successful candidate will have a very broad approach and range of skills including commercial, strategic, specification, engineering, technical and application specification. The nature of the role means that there is a significant amount of amount of travel is necessary within the region.
