Engineering Drawing & Design

• Prepare product design and documentation using Computer Aided Design, AutoCAD
• Prepare final drawings by studying engineering sketches, specifications and supporting documents
• Create multiple options and seek approvals on the agreed / accepted drawings
• Develop the following layouts, including components and parts:
 Fitting layout
 Electrical layout
 Power socket layout
 Flooring layout
• Develop dimension partition
• Develop details, section elevations and Bill of Quantity (BOQ) for the common area(s)
• Draw multiple views of the system, components, and parts depict relationship of components and parts
• Perform drafting revisions and modifications on drawings such as general arrangements, writing diagrams and ensure standards are adhered to during preparation of the drawings
Routine Operations:

• Prepare Bills of Materials using CAD and maintain a record of the same
• Estimate material and man-hour requirements for fabrication work
• Perform design checks on preliminary design packages for bidding documents
• Enter and maintain information within the database
• Help and identify initiatives to improve the CAD processes and level of service delivered to customers (internal and external) e.g. operative processes, paper processes etc.
Self Development:

• Strive to achieve the highest levels of proficiency on all the competencies and skills required to perform the role
• Identify the training and development requirements for self and agree on them with the Manager - Rigging, Mains and CAD to ensure that they required trainings are arranged and attended
• Set the performance goals in the beginning of the year after discussion with the Manager - Rigging, Mains and CAD and ensure that the goals are achieved during the course of the year
